A Veteran’s forever home
In a market where cash is king and for every house there are typically multiple offers — we were facing an uphill battle helping our veteran client secure his ideal home with a VA Loan. Being a military family ourselves, this one was close to our hearts. By proactively working with all parties involved in the transaction, we were able to help the client have his offer accepted over others and navigate the closing process successfully & efficiently.
Creative Lake Living
We worked with a family that was moving into town and really wanted to be on the water. Available properties that met all of their other ‘must have’ criteria were just a bit outside of their desired budget. Together, we got creative. We found a new construction in a neighborhood with lake access and a boat ramp! The family was able to get a new home that was not going to require any work and was able to compromise on living on the water vs having easy access to it.

They were moving here from Texas. He was retired Army and an active firefighter. She was a famous author — At least to her readers.
We only had one week while they were in town to find the perfect house — But, finding the house turned out to be the easy part. We had to include attorneys & accountants to make sure that a trust owned the home so it would be a little harder to find out who the owner was — At least until she went on HGTV and told everyone.
After the close, we had fun helping customize the house specifically for the couple — which included upgrading appliances, exterior work and an office hidden behind a bookcase.
