Once again, the Tennessee REALTORS proudly represented the state on a global stage at the United States Pavilion during the MIPIM conference in Cannes. Recognized as one of the premier international real estate events in the world, MIPIM brings together a powerful mix of investors, developers, corporate end-users, and economic development leaders from across the globe. The conference serves as a central marketplace for ideas, capital, and partnerships, where regions compete to showcase their strengths and attract new opportunities.
Throughout the event, our team had the opportunity to engage directly with a wide range of international stakeholders—many of whom had little to no prior knowledge of Tennessee. These conversations proved to be incredibly impactful. By highlighting Tennessee’s strategic advantages—such as its central location, business-friendly environment, strong workforce, and growing infrastructure—we were able to shift perceptions in real time.
What started as introductory discussions quickly evolved into meaningful dialogues about investment potential. In several instances, attendees who were initially unfamiliar with the state left the conversation expressing serious interest in relocating operations, including manufacturing facilities, to Tennessee. These outcomes underscore the importance of global engagement and the value of telling Tennessee’s story on an international platform.
