Radon In Tennessee

As more and more people move into Tennessee from all over the country we are seeing more and more Radon testing in Chattanooga. With an increase in testing of course comes an increase in questions and even mitigation. One of the largest companies in Chattanooga that is dedicated to all things Radon is Radon Eraser.

We have to admit that we have been in Real Estate for 18 years now and I can count the number of people that have done Radon tests when buying a home on one hand until 2-3 years ago. There are lots of questions that come up from Buyers and Sellers about what is Radon? What is a high level and if the home is high what do we do about it?

Radon can be deadly and we are seeing it in all types of construction. We recently had a very high level on a luxury new construction. No one had any idea that the level was as high as it was and i think at the end of the day everyone involved in the transaction was glad that the Buyers had the test done.
