A Perfect Day at Barnsley Resort: Quail Hunting and Southern Charm Just a Short Drive from Chattanooga

As a Chattanooga native and real estate professional who's always on the go, I make it a point to carve out time for the things that recharge me—like spending a day in the great outdoors with good friends. I’ve visited Barnsley Resort in Adairsville, Georgia, several times over the years, but I’d never made it to the Beretta Shooting Grounds side until this past MLK Day. A few buddies and I planned a quick quail hunting outing, and it turned out to be one of the best days I’ve had in a while.

The Grateful Gobbler walk is a Thanksgiving family tradition for my family. We volunteer the week of and help with setup and handing out t-shirts and every Thanksgiving morning we head down to Collidge Park and walk the 5K.
