The Realtors recognizes Travis Close as a Master GRI designee

The Tennessee Realtors® is proud to recognize Travis Close as a new Master GRI designee, one of a select few in the state who have achieved the highest professional designation that TAR can bestow.

The Tennessee Association of Realtors®, in partnership with the with the Tennessee Real Estate Educational Foundation, established the Master GRI designation to recognize Realtors in residential real estate who have taken their professional education  far beyond what most other of their fellow Realtors have done.

Only 11 Realtors statewide have achieved the Master GRI designation! Approximately fifteen percent of all Realtors® in Tennessee hold the GRI (Graduate, Realtor Institute) designation, signifying successful completion of 90 hours of specific professional development courses beyond those required for licensing. The Master GRI designation recognizes those who have taken their education to the next level, completing an additional 30 hours of courses.

The Tennessee Association of Realtors® is one of the largest professional membership associations in Tennessee, with a membership of approximately 18,000. The association serves its members by providing information, education, and business services to them, in addition to legislative advocacy on their behalf. The Tennessee Real Estate Educational Foundation is a nonprofit entity, created over 40 years ago to provide educational programs and related services to the real estate industry in Tennessee.
