How To Visit Washington DC
It does not matter what side of the isle you are on or if you like/agree with who is in power in Washington you owe it to yourself and your family to not only visit DC but to do it to the fullest. Anyone can hop on a tour bus or a plane and go to DC and get tickets to some of the amazing things to see. With a little planning and a few phone calls you can do it to the fullest. If you contact your Congressman or Senator they or their staff will take you on a Capital Tour. Even if you have been on a tour before you have not been on one like this.
Grateful Gobbler
The Grateful Gobbler walk is a Thanksgiving family tradition for my family. We volunteer the week of and help with setup and handing out t-shirts and every Thanksgiving morning we head down to Collidge Park and walk the 5K. Registration is now open and the are looking for volunteer and runners/walkers.
Owensby Farms Grand Opening
DR Horton is having the Grand Opening of Owensby Farms, their new subdivision in Dayton Tennessee. They will have Pumpkins, BBQ and Cider. Dayton is only about 30 minutes from Downtown Chattanooga and is a growing little city. Dayton is a quiter place to live and a little slower pace of live but close to both Chattanooga and Knoxville.

Emotions of moving 20 Years Of Memories & How we are doing it
Moving is emotional. Add raising your children in the same home for 20 years, and the emotions ramp way up. The memories, the lessons, the comfort of familiarity, and the sheer accumulation of stuff is simply harder to move. Lookouts Topping Off Ceremony
A few months ago we were invited to take part in the Chattanooga Lookouts Topping Off Ceremony. They had the ceremony on the site of the new stadium and allowed invitees to sign one of the plate that will be installed in the new park. This was a huge honor to be a part of this group and we will forever be a part of the new Erlanger Park.
Bo Watson’s all American Bash
This last Sunday Senator Bo Watson held his annual All-American Bash in Collegedale Tennessee. This is the 4th year for this even and it is always a packed house and this year was no exception. Almost all of the Hamilton County delegation was in attendance as well as many of our elected state officials and our federal representatives Including Senator Marsha Blackburn, Congressman Chuck Fleischmann and Congressman Tim Burchett.
